Dickert Style Rifle

Here is a Troy Roope built Dickert/Lancaster style flintlock rifle, it has a B weight, 42 inch Colerain barrel in .50 caliber, LC Rice Siler Flintlock, 006 RE Davis double-set trigger (assembled by RE Davis). The rifle has Cash thimbles (deluxe octagon w/wedding bands) and nose cap, a silver front sight and investment cast butt plate, trigger guard and side plate. The tenons have elongated holes and are pinned with 1/16 inch pins.

The curly maple stock has a wooden patchbox, and has a 13 1/2 inch length of pull and a 3 inch drop. The stock is Aqua-Fortis stained, Chambers oil finish The hickory ramrod is tapered 7/16 to 3/8 and is Aqua-Fortis stained & linseed oil finished.
